As the seasons end draws near, our champion muses over the chelsea/Barca bore fest in the UCL & Lamps rings the show to do the ranting at Jose (Franks latest hobby).
Sven has trouble with swine flu but still manages a sneaky piece of pimping for the Toronto Job.
all this along with Jose musing over being the New Doctor in the legendary British sci fi series "Doctor Who" with Sven as a Dalek & wayne as Davros (the Daleks leader).
Another contender for top ten status here in my opinion.

Although this is a football comedy blog I have to post this piece of Drivel from America.

This is why the game has zero credibility in the USA & why it is imposable for the game to succeed stateside.
This is supposed to be a humorous segment on the chances of the USA getting to host the world cup (although they seem ignorant of the fact that they already hosted it before).
It is so unfunny that it is laughable - but we are not laughing at the content but rather at the Idiots who are pretending that they know what they are talking about.

They are a bunch of bloody clueless morons & damaging to the prospects of the game ever becoming a success in the USA, & that is a real shame.

Every time the MLS or the game of Association Football in North America in general gets a little bit of credibility in the world you get arseholes like this who think they are "oh so funny" & send the game in that region back to ridicule city.

This writer for one feels sorry for those serious U.S fans who try so hard to build the game up in the united states but have to contend week in & week out with prats like these.

In my book they are about as welcome as a fart in a space suit & U.S fans - You have my utmost sympathy.

Already recognized on youtube, Facebook & the special 1 tv fanzone http://www.special1tv.yuku.com/ as maybe the best episode ever from Jose & the lads since the inception of I.O.S.S - this episode see's Jose mecilessly rip on the voyeur (Wenger) regarding the Arshavin deal.
Sven is caught out at a strip club (the boy Wayne wouldn't waste a "Snared")
& Robbie rings from Tottenham to thank the lads for their help in finding him a new home.
This writer can seriously say that this is without a doubt a top 3 episode & may even be the greatest 5 minutes from Mario Rosenstock (writer/vocalist/producer) & the setanta crew.

From I.O.S.S to SPECIAL 1 TV (The Transitional Episode

Hello Champions
Here is the very first post for The Special 1 TV & I.O.S.S Blogspot.

Special 1 tv's predecessor called "I'm on setanta sports" (I.O.S.S) first appeared at the beginning of December 2007 & has been a cult football comedy hit ever since.
At first the show was a solo effort with The special one in the studio alone & taking calls from various other football faces & Managers(with the exception of a certain Dave from Newcastle).
In due coarse Two more regulars were drafted in by Jose in the shape of Sven ("IT") & the boy Wayne (Rooney) This move bought a massive comical boost to the show & helped increase it's popularity.

In autumn 08 a certain Mr Fabio Capello (cabbage man) came into the show as THE BOSS much to Jose's disgust. But he has seldom been seen since a certain election defeat to Jose. (Do not cross the special one).In early January 2009 setanta stunned the shows millions & millions of Fantastic fans by announcing that IOSS was to end the following weekend.....for no apparent reason.
DAVE LENNON (Director of the Doitchampions youtube channel & this Blogspot) went Ballistic & started an online campaign to save this special show.After 10 days of this campaign it was announced through a special episode (EP00 on this channel) that the show was to return with a new name "Special 1 TV".The fans rejoiced & I slept properly for the first time in ten days.The whole thing had been a cheap marketing ploy (as stated by Sven in EP01) to accommodate a new sponsor (pools4all.com).

However - this author got his reward when his campaign & his name was given a rather special mention in the transitional show ...

& so we are now into a new era for our hero. Please enjoy Special 1 tv.
